Who We Are
We're fans, Steeler fans who
live in Pittsburgh, PA.
I met my wife during the playoff run of 1995 and
met my mother-in-law for the first time at her AFC Championship Game
party.
We moved to DC and gathered at the bar on Sunday mornings to watch
Kordell Stewart try to get us back to the promised land -- and fail, and, fail, and fail again.
On November 30, 1997 we saw the Steelers play the Cardinals in Arizona,
and noticed
a strange phenomena. Thousands of black and gold Steeler fans
converging on Phoenix from around the country. Why? It was the Steelers
only trip west of the Mississippi River that year. We later learned
that at least 10 different people we knew from Pittsburgh were at the
game.
Last year we met friends from around the country in San Diego on that October Monday night when most of
Western Pennsylvania seemed to be in Southern California.
We saw an sea
of orange turn black and gold on television and after the Super Bowl we
danced in the Street with our neighbors in front of our house.
Other sites celebrate the players and the stats. We celebrate the fans
and provide the information fans need to get together to watch
Pittsburgh Steelers Football, live and in person with friends and
family.
So whether you're tossing a football around the parking lot by the
stadium, hanging out at the bar, or are in your living room, enjoy the
party and good luck Steelers!
